The aim of the current research is to analyze the philosophy of political law selection in Islam, emphasizing justice as the central signifier. In this regard, an attempt has been made, through a reading of Islamic thought, not to reduce the legal approach to political selection to an administrative process, but rather to explore the concept of "political selection" as an ethical and religious issue influenced by the principles of justice and the observance of the rights of individuals in society. Selection is an event whose normative process is defined based on the components of the legal system, and in Islamic thought, its resonance appears in four main axes: meritocracy, social justice, preservation of public rights, and negation of the principle of negative discrimination. The main issue of the present research focuses on the impact of justice on the legitimacy and efficiency of governance in the Islamic system. The product of this research, which is based on comparative analysis and in which the principles of justice in political selection in Islamic thought are compared with modern theories of public law and political philosophy, and the concepts of justice and political selection in the Quran, the tradition of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), and the conduct of the Infallible Imams (AS), especially Imam Ali (AS), are examined, shows that justice in Islamic thought is not limited to the fair distribution of opportunities and limited resources, and in this respect, not only does it have a distributive nature, but its scope also includes ensuring the individual and social rights of citizens and establishing a just order in society. Justice in the Islamic view is not merely about selecting individuals with moral and scientific qualifications, but it is directly linked to the realization of efficient governance. Ultimately, the achievement of this research creates the possibility of presenting executive and systematic models for the realization of justice in political processes in other Islamic countries.
